Chris Rock didn’t raise a ruckus over then-Sen. Barack Obama outspending Sen. John McCain in the 2008 presidential campaign.

The comedian is known for his gift of gab, but he couldn’t find any punch lines to wrap around the disparity.

Now, with Obama trailing Mitt Romney in the war chest department, Rock is suddenly wishing the political system offered campaign cash equality.

Rock shared his new-found concerns with the crew at “CBS This Morning:”

“I wish we didn’t have to stoop to this level. I wish they made it like a real fight. I mean, we’re watching the Olympics right now and everything is fair,” the comedian said on “CBS This Morning” on Thursday. “I wish both guys could only spend the same amount of money and let the best man win.”
