LOS ANGELES, Dec. 2 (UPI)–U.S. comedian Roseanne Barr vowed on Twitter to never work in television again.

Barr, 61, starred on the classic sitcom “Roseanne” (1988-97), then served as host of “The Roseanne Show” chat program from 1998 to 2000, appeared on the reality show “Roseanne’s Nuts” in 2011 and was the subject of a Comedy Central roast last year.

She most recently has been developing a new, as-yet-untitled television show, but her weekend Twitter rant suggested the process is not going well.

“I’m never going to work in television again. I’m never going to even attempt it. I feel as if I’ve been insulted/assaulted for over a year,” Barr tweeted Saturday in the first of many online messages.

“Actually, for many years — from my first reality show to my second and two failed development details. Don’t call me-I won’t call you. I’m gone,” she said.

“Not ONE word remained of any ideas I had. I was constantly ‘corrected’ as if I had no track record whatsoever. I’m enraged over all of it. … I don’t have the emotional stability to withstand being manipulated and lied to anymore-now that I’m old. … Newsflash: Yes, I do have mental health issues. Decent ppl refrain from bullying, lying to, manipulating & taking advantage of ppl like me.”
