Lady Antebellum vocalist Hillary Scott and three others managed to escape injury early Thursday morning when the country music group’s tour bus caught fire on a Texas highway.

“Hey guys, we had a crazy morning on the way to Dallas today, ”she wrote on Instagram Thursday. “Our bus tire caught on fire and we had to evacuate very quickly.”

Scott was traveling from Nashville, TN with her husband and her tour manager. She told fans she was sleeping when one of the back tires caught on fire.

“Everyone is safe and sound,” she said. “Thanking God for our safety and the safety of all of those who helped put this fire out and keep us safe.

Local affiliate NBCDFW reports Garland Fire Department Captain Billy Craven said those on the bus were fortunate that the driver acted quickly. “As soon as he realized that he had a fire, he didn’t hesitate to get everyone off and then call 911,” he told the affiliate. Authorities estimated the accident would take crews three to four hours to clean the scene and reopen the highway to full capacity. Lady Antebellum publicist Mary Hilliard also told NBC the bus is not Scott’s usual bus, but did not disclose why the usual bus was unavailable. Later Thursday, Scott again took to Instagram to share a story of possessions she lost in the bus fire, which did not include her Bible:

I just got this picture from the scene of the fire and HAD to share this. Today, when our bus caught on fire we had quite a few personal belongings in the back (where I was asleep before evacuating the bus) one of them being my Bible. I kid you not, EVERYTHING in the back lounge was destroyed from the flames, except my Bible. The outside cover was burned and messed up but NOT ONE PAGE was missing.

Yall, God’s Word will always stand. He is FOR YOU, WILL PROTECT YOU, AND HIS LOVE FOR YOU WILL NEVER FADE. My faith is forever deepened because of today. I hope this story deepens yours.
