Country Star John Rich: ‘Threat of Cancellation,’ ‘Step Deeper Than’ Cancel Culture, Silencing Conservative Country Music Artists

Country music star John Rich of Big & Rich told Breitbart News this weekend that the “very liberal” majority of those in the country music industry have become “emboldened” in recent months to push woke leftist ideology publicly in contravention of the views of the majority of the country music audience. Rich said that the mere “threat of cancellation” keeps conservative-leaning artists from speaking out, arguing that it is actually a “step deeper than” cancel culture–ultimately creating a divide between the country music industry and the country music audience.

Listen: Country Rocker Aaron Lewis’ Single ‘Am I The Only One’ Rips Leftist Activists, Bruce Springsteen

Country rock star Aaron Lewis has released the new single “Am I the Only One,” a country ballad that affirms his patriotism and shows his dismay and bewilderment at the direction the country has taken in recent months. The song specifically calls out left-wing activists who have torn down historic statues as well as fellow rocker Bruce Springsteen, who publicly denounced then-President Donald Trump during last year’s presidential race.

Donald Trump Blasts ‘Filthy’ Jay-Z

“His language was so filthy, that it made me look like the most clean-cut human being on earth,” Trump said, recalling a campaign rally that the rapper did with Clinton. “He would stand up before those crowds and he would use the F-word and Hillary would sit back and say, ‘Hey, Oh, I’m in trouble.’”
