TMZ reports that Kylie Jenner is being investigated by Los Angeles County Animal Control over complaints that one of her dogs appears to be too thin.

A spokesperson for Los Angeles County Animal Control told the gossip site that they received multiple complaints of possible animal cruelty after Jenner shared a Snapchat video of her two Italian greyhound dogs, Bambi and Norman, with her fans. Some fans thought Bambi appeared malnourished and complained.

According to TMZ, an investigation has been launched into whether Bambi is eating enough, and if any evidence of neglect is found, Jenner could be forced to surrender the dog to authorities and could also face charges.

TMZ notes that Italian greyhounds are known for being naturally lean, and the experts they consulted didn’t see anything concerning about Jenner’s dogs; however, the office of Animal Control is required to investigate all complaints of animal neglect and cruelty.

Jenner posted two more snapchat videos on Wednesday of herself with her dogs.

News of this investigation into Jenner comes immediately after the 18-year-old model and reality TV star incited an online firestorm this week by posing in a wheelchair for a recent photo shoot for Interview magazine.

In a statement to PEOPLE magazine, Interview explained its decision to use the wheelchair: “Our intention was to create a powerful set of pictures that get people thinking about image and creative expression, including the set with the wheelchair, but our intention was certainly not to offend anyone.”
