Dramatic scenes unfolded in the Hungarian town of Bicske on Thursday when a distraught Syrian refugee pushed his wife and their young child on the rail tracks in protest over Hungarian authorities.

Hundreds of Syrian migrants were ordered off the train at the station after boarding in Budapest, with police attempting to take them to a nearby refugee camp.

Many people started chanting “No camp!” and refused to leave, with scuffles soon breaking out. Police declared the station an “operation zone” and ordered journalists to leave.

Thousands of migrants also remain camped outside the main train station in Budapest with many now refusing to board trains, fearing they too will run into police walls.
