Just heard the news that Britain has won her Independence. Wow!

Let me tell you about the moment yesterday when I first thought it possible that the pollsters might be wrong.

I was in a supermarket around 8pm buying some last minute shopping and I said to the kid serving me: “Have you voted yet?”

“Yes,” he said, briskly – like this really mattered. “This morning.”

“Which way did you vote?” I asked.

“I’d rather not say,” he said. “How about you?”

“I voted Leave,” I said.

A smile suddenly appeared on his face.

“Me too,” he said.

“How old are you?” I said.

“18” he said.

You did good, kid. You got your country back. You saved the future.
