Former Vice President Joe Biden struggled to articulate his plans on health care and was cut off repeatedly on Wednesday during the second night of the Democrat debates on CNN.

“It’s no longer chemicals … it’s about all these breakthroughs we’re having with the, you know, you know, excuse me, immune system,” Joe Biden said in one apparent fumble while discussing biologics on the subject of health care and got cut off without finishing his point.

Harris at one point said Biden was confused about what is in her healthcare plan because he probably never read it, and she claimed a ten-year transition period for Medicare for All with a public and private option was feasible.

Biden, who seemed to reference ObamaCare at one point in his rebuttal, said, “You can’t beat President Trump with double-talk on this plan.”

Others on Twitter noted Biden’s lack of debate prep by pointing out that he “had to look at his notes during his 30-second” opening statement and frequently answered questions with awkward pauses.
