The LA Times reports
that Sony Pictures Imageworks, the studio’s visual effects powerhouse behind “The Amazing Spider-Man 2” and Marvel’s “Guardians of the Galaxy,” just dropped a bomb on its 270 Culver City employees with the news that the 20-year-old company is up and moving to Vancouver for the 60% tax subsidy that comes with it.
According to the Times, “Sony is expected to keep a small staff in its Culver City facility[.]”
That sounds like terrible news for a couple hundred worker bees.
Yes, you read that correctly, the same Sony Pictures Entertainment that hosted Obama 2012 fundraisers to stop that evil capitalist Mitt Romney just went full-Vulture Capitalist chasing lower taxes. The same Sony that at one time tried to release a major feature weeks before the 2012 election about Obama’s success as president, is now running to a foreign country.
Even Leftists know their policies and ideas are insane. They just want you and I to suffer under them while they live like Caesar.
