On January 26, the crew prepping Levi’s Stadium for Super Bowl 50 accidentally painted the Denver Broncos logo at both ends of the football field.
Yahoo Sports reported the mistake with a few tongue-in-check observations: “Making things easier on Peyton Manning? Giving Cam Newton an even higher hurdle to clear? Or just a case of bizarre miscommunication? You make the call.”
Yahoo Sports’ Daniel Lam tweeted a photo of the field with the Bronco’s logo solidly visible in one end zone and still lightly visible in the other.

And CBS photographer James Martin tweeted a photo where the nearly erased Bronco’s logo in the second end zone remained somewhat visible.

On January 28 Levi’s Stadium tweeted a photo showing the mistake had been corrected:
