Several Google employees had Maine lobster shipped and transported to Nevada’s infamous Burning Man Festival, which is centered around the philosophies of “radical self-reliance” and “radical self expression.”

David Sullivan, manager of Lobster 207 — the company that shipped a 10-pound box of live crustaceans to the Google employees — told the Reno Gazette-Journal that the delicacy was not as extravagant as it sounds, costing “$139.58 to ship eight to 10 lobsters to California.”

The box reportedly arrived at Google’s Sunnyvale offices on Aug. 21 and was then driven two days to Black Rock City, Nevada, where Burning Man took place.

Lobster 207 even dedicated a tweet to the special delivery: “Once a year, tens of thousands of people gather in Nevada’s Black Rock Desert to create Black Rock City, a temporary metropolis dedicated to community, art, self-expression and self-reliance. And this year they are eating lobster. From dock to desert, no problem.”

Google’s employees weren’t the only ones to bring luxury to the desert celebration, where bohemians mingle with the bourgeois.

According to Business Insider, Doug Evans, the founder of the $400 Wifi-enabled Juicero, was literally burning it up at Burning Man, despite his company shutting down sales this past weekend.

Evans reportedly posted an image of him blowing fire from a tricked-out bicycle to his Instagram account and labeled it, “Fire breathing bike dragon:”

The Business Insider noted that Juicero shuttered after nearly four years of operation when Bloomberg reported that the company’s fruit and vegetable packs could be juiced by hand and did not require the pricey machine.
