May 11 (UPI) — Two Maryland highways were closed temporarily when a truck carrying portable toilets overturned and burst into flames on an overpass.

The Maryland State Highway Administration said the truck was traveling on westbound Maryland Route 32 about 10:30 a.m. Thursday when it struck a guardrail on the bridge over Maryland Route 295.

The truck overturned and started spilling its diesel fuel, which quickly caught fire.

Both highways were closed for a time Thursday, with 295 reopening about 11 a.m. and 32 being reopened about two hours later.

No serious injuries were reported from the incident.
