ALBUQUERQUE–U.S. taxpayers will foot the bill for two Mexican nationals to receive free housing, food, and healthcare.

The two men were in the U.S. illegally and have received lengthy prison sentences for aiding a methamphetamine operation on U.S. soil. Had law enforcement not discovered their criminal enterprise, both men would have received amnesty from the Senate’s recently-passed immigration bill.

One of the pair pleaded guilty to being “an illegal alien in possession of a firearm.” The U.S. Attorney’s office states that the men were illegally present in the United States.

These two narco-trafficking Mexican nationals are not the only ones who almost made amnesty, had it not been for the efforts and service of U.S. law enforcement officers. Multiple cases of Mexican Nationals being sent to the U.S. illegally to either run and oversee operations for Mexican cartels or to operate their own narcotics rings in the U.S. have recently emerged in several U.S. states, including Washington, Idaho, Alabama, Oregon, and Virginia.

Breitbart News has documented other criminals that would have been beneficiaries of the Senate immigration, including a Guatemalan internationally organized crime syndicate had a trusted operative in the U.S. illegally, and another case involving a Mexican cartel assassin who authorities verified had killed many victims on U.S. soil.

The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime revealed that people from all over the world were using Mexico as a “global highway” to illegally enter the U.S., including individuals from failed states and hotbeds of Islamic terrorism like Somalia. These individuals would be granted the same amnesty as Mexicans and Central Americans under the current bill passed by the Senate.
