Assemblyman Tom Donnelly (R-CA) is withdrawing his children from public school over the new bill signed by Gov. Jerry Brown (D-CA) that would allow transgender students to use whichever bathroom and join whichever sports team they see fit.

“While trying to address a concern of less than 2 percent of the population,” wrote Donnelly at WND.com, “California is now forcibly violating the rights of the other 8 percent.” Donnelly’s 13- and 16-year-old sons attend Rim of the World Unified School District in the San Bernardino Mountains, and were “horrified” to learn about the new law. “If it doesn’t change his school experience,” Donnelly admitted, “he may still stay.”
