SALT LAKE CITY, Feb. 27 (UPI) —
University of Utah police said officers peered inside an igloo built on campus and discovered a group of students smoking marijuana.

Garth Smith, spokesman for police on the Salt Lake City school’s campus, said the four students were found smoking marijuana in a 5-foot-tall igloo with walls 10 inches thick on campus, CNN reported Thursday.

It was unclear whether the four students inside the igloo at the time were the ones who constructed the igloo.

Smith said one of the students was cited for possession of marijuana and paraphernalia after officers searched his backpack. No arrests were made and the four were referred to the Student Behavior Committee.

The students could face penalties including academic sanctions and expulsion stemming from the Jan. 31 incident.

Police said officers demolished the igloo.
