Gun control proponent Gabby Giffords is set to undertake a nine-state, “Protect All Women Tour.”

Her first stop is in Maine: a state in which she met with George H.W. Bush and raised money for gun control gubernatorial candidate Michael Michaud (D) in August.

According to the Portland Press Herald, Giffords’ tour is called the “Protect All Women Tour.”

She is pushing for a federal law to treat misdemeanor domestic violence offenders like felons and bar them from possessing firearms. She also wants new rules for online firearm sales and new regulations for firearm sales at gun shows.

Breitbart News has reported that Giffords and her husband Mark Kelly are also pushing for new laws against gun trafficking, although gun trafficking is already illegal.

After Maine, Giffords will travel to New Hampshire, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Arizona, Minnesota, Iowa, and Oregon.
