White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest welcomed Fox News reporter James Rosen back to the press briefing room at the White House today after a long absence in the room.

Although, FOX News Chief White House Correspondent Ed Henry traditionally fills the seat in the briefing room reserved for Fox News, Rosen attended the briefing on Friday.

Rosen was targeted by the Obama administration in 2010 as the Justice Department spied on him by tracking his movements at the State Department and seizing personal emails.

Fox News reacted angrily to the news that was revealed by the Washington Post in May of 2013.
