At the opening of his Saturday “Cavuto on Business” broadcast on the Fox News Channel, host Neil Cavuto took on President Barack Obama’s remarks from last week in which Obama tied Fox News’ coverage of abuses within the government welfare system to a misperception Obama insists exists about the poor.
Cavuto took it a step further with a satirical rant and said Fox News was responsible for much more, including the missing Malaysian airliner, the California drought, an asteroid that struck Russia a couple of years ago, the Kennedy assassination, the sinking of the Titanic, the Spanish Inquisition, famine, the extinction of the dinosaur and the Hindenburg, among other things.
Cavuto, however, said Fox News was not responsible for MSNBC.
