Republican presidential candidate Carly Fiorina stated that while Rand Paul “is outside the mainstream of this party,” Marco Rubio “would make a great veep” on Thursday’s “Hannity” on the Fox News Channel.

Fiorina said of Rand, “I think he is outside the mainstream of this party. And I think we are a nation that must always [face] outward into the world. When we are not leading, which doesn’t mean rushing off to war, the world is a far more dangerous and tragic place.”

Fiorina added that Marco Rubio is “a politician with a great future” and “would make a great veep.” She also said that it was “difficult for people to think about a Bush III” when asked about Jeb Bush.

She also said that Scott Walker has “a lot of grit and a lot of heart” and praised Ted Cruz as “a very smart man. And I think that being president requires unifying the country.”

Fiorina also criticized President Obama as someone with an ideology “so foreign to what I believe this country is about” and “no experience” in real leadership. She further argued that Hillary Clinton’s presidential ambitions outweigh her “ability to be an effective leader.”
