The  Women’s March is planning a march against the NRA, claiming the group’s fight for truth “appears to be a direct endorsement of violence against women.”

Ironically, the NRA commercial against which they are reacting–a commercial which calls for countering the left with the “truth”–is hosted by a woman.

That woman, Dana Loesch, uses the commercial to unmask the left. She says:

They use their media to assassinate real news, they use their schools to teach children that their president is another Hitler. They use their movie stars and singers and comedy shows and awards shows to repeat their narrative over and over again. And then they use their ex-president to endorse the ‘resistance,’ all to make them march; to make them protest and scream ‘racism’ and ‘xenophobia’ and ‘homophobia’ [and] to smash windows, burn cars, shut down interstates and airports, [and] bully and terrorize the law-abiding.

Loesch closes the commercial by saying, “The only way we stop this, the only way we save our country and our freedom, is to fight this violence of lies with the clenched fist of truth. I’m the National Rifle Assn. of America, and I’m freedom’s safest place.”

HuffPo reports that Women’s March co-chair Tamika Mallory wrote a letter to NRA executive VP Wayne LaPierre, demanding that Loesch’s “dangerous” video be pulled.  Moreover, Mallory demanded that the NRA apologize for Losech’s commercial airing in the first place.

Mallory reacted to Loesch’s comments on the left’s “resistance” movement by writing:

You are responsible for an organization that claims to be the ‘oldest civil rights organization in America,’ however your recent actions by the NRA demonstrate not only a complete disregard for the lives of black and brown people in America — your fellow citizens — but appear to be a direct endorsement of violence against these citizens exercising their constitutional right to protest.

Three days after Mallory’s letter, the NRA followed Loesch’s commercial with a second ad focused on the left’s propensity for violence. The second ad was titled, “We Won’t Apologize for Telling the Truth.”

Women’s March plans to march against the NRA in Fairfax, Virginia, on March 14.
