A new political action committee (PAC) created by Rep. Paul Gosar (R-AZ) is vowing to take on the open borders lobby and their friends in Washington, DC, by boosting candidates who support President Trump’s plan for a border wall and oppose amnesty for illegal aliens.

Protecting Americans Under the Law (PAUL-PAC) will throw its weight behind public officials and candidates who “recognize the importance of building the wall, support stopping terrorists and drug runners at the border, oppose amnesty for people who violate our immigration laws, and officials who understand that no country should have open borders allowing illegal aliens to come through in the millions,” a statement from PAUL-PAC said.

The long-term goal of the PAC is to expose the open borders lobby narrative that illegal aliens, specifically those shielded by the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program, are the world’s best and brightest foreigners.

“Our nation is in a time of peril. The media and the left would have you believe that if you don’t stand with those in our nation illegally, if you do not support an illegal and unconstitutional executive order than you are heartless,” Gosar told Breitbart News. “That cannot [be] further from the truth. What is heartless is ignoring and stepping on the tens of millions of immigrants who came here legally. It is heartless and foolish to put real Americans out of work so illegal aliens can undermine the work force with cheap labor at slave rates. This is patently un-American.”

“It is inane to call illegal aliens ‘dreamers’ or ‘undocumented immigrants’ and an insult to real Americans who have the American dream legitimately – not through theft, crime and illegality,” Gosar continued. “If your first act in this country is to break our laws, you should never be welcome here. We are a nation of lawful immigrants and a nation of laws. We have families who are attempting to enter our nation the right way and those individuals should not be discriminated against and suffer due to the actions of those who didn’t.”

Alongside Gosar, former Colorado Congressman Tom Tancredo will serve as an adviser to PAUL-PAC. Tancredo’s political career was one that preceded Trump’s populist-economic nationalist movement, often leading to fights in Congress for pro-American immigration reform that included ending illegal immigration, securing the border, and decreasing legal immigration levels.

“PAUL-PAC is needed now more then ever. Open borders and amnesty encourages terrorism, helps keep real Americans unemployed, costs our schools, welfare, and health care system billions, and poses an imminent threat to the rule of law,” Tancredo told Breitbart News in a statement. “I am proud to join Congressman Gosar as an adviser to this PAC.”

Former Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio, famously known for his staunch enforcement of immigration law, will also join PAUL-PAC as an adviser.

“I am proud to join Congressman Gosar in finding, supporting and helping candidates who act with conviction and understand our national security remains at risk with weak borders and lax enforcement,” Arpaio said in a statement. “Please help us help others join the battle.”

At PAUL-PAC’s official site, NotAllDreamers.com, Executive Director Apryl Marie Fogel told Breitbart News that Americans can join the fight against open borders by not only donating, but by signing a petition that will be sent to the Trump administration, showing widespread support for the president’s border wall and promise to oppose amnesty.

Most recently, Trump catapulted the Obama-created DACA temporary amnesty program into the spotlight when he seemed to break with his campaign promises by meeting with House and Senate Democrats to discuss a potential amnesty for the 800,000 illegal aliens shielded by DACA.

Weeks before the meeting, Attorney General Jeff Sessions – a longtime fighter for the pro-American immigration reform movement – announced that DACA would be ultimately ended by the administration, though it would phase the program out in six months.

As Breitbart News reported, a DACA amnesty deal could trigger a flood of at least four to six million foreign nationals entering the U.S., not including the hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens who could surge the U.S.-Mexico border following an amnesty deal.

DACA recipients currently hold upwards of 700,000 U.S. jobs. An ultimate end to the program – with DACA recipients not getting amnesty – could result in a 700,000 job stimulus for American workers. This would amount to nearly 30,000 new U.S. job openings for American workers every month once the program is officially phased out.

Although screening for DACA was previously touted as being sufficient in keeping criminals out, United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) revealed that more than 2,100 recipients had their status revoked for being criminals or gang members.
