Members of Mom’s March for America – a national movement of mothers designed to take back America’s culture – plan to attend the dedication ceremony of the Museum of the Bible Friday, November 17.

The museum, located just three blocks south of the Capitol in Washington, D.C., houses a 3,200-pound full-scale replica of the Liberty Bell, donated by Dr. Peter Lillback, founder of Providence Forum.

As the museum is dedicated Friday at 11:17 a.m. EST, the replica Liberty Bell is scheduled to ring, while church bells in Washington, D.C. and throughout the country are scheduled to ring their bells at the same time.

Members of Mom’s March are hosting a national Ringing of the Bells ceremony to celebrate the museum’s grand opening. The event will be live-streamed on Facebook beginning at 10:45 EST.

Participating in the Mom’s March bell-ringing event will be Dr. Candy Carson, wife of Dr. Ben Carson; Martha Boneta, President of Freedom Network America; Donna Rice Hughes, President of Enough is Enough; and Francoise Djoukeng of HomeMakers for America.

“At a time when America seems so divided and violence abounds, we need an event like this to come together and celebrate the things that unite us,” says Kimberly Fletcher, who heads up Mom’s March. “The Bible has been root of American freedom from the beginning and families are the wellspring from which that freedom flows. Together, one child’s heart at a time, one home and family at a time we will heal our nation—from the inside out.”

The founder of the Museum of the Bible is Steve Green, President of Hobby Lobby craft stores. Hobby Lobby became a household name during the legal challenge mounted by the Green family to the Obamacare contraceptive mandate. In 2014, the Supreme Court ruled in Hobby Lobby’s favor, a decision that allowed the Green family not to be coerced by the federal government to provide abortion-inducing drugs to employees through its health insurance plan.

Mom’s March launched its inaugural event in September in the Omaha, Nebraska area with keynote speakers former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, Dr. Candy Carson, actress Sam Sorbo, and others. Fletcher says the group is organizing events each month to show its presence.

Fletcher, an author and radio host, explained in an interview with Breitbart News the motivation behind Mom’s March:

We are very concerned about the direction our culture is taking. And this idea that the media is giving full coverage to these women in the pink hats who are saying, “We’re speaking for the women in America,” and “What we want is the agenda that women want.” Michelle Obama comes out and says, “Because you didn’t vote for Hillary Clinton, you didn’t listen to your own voice.”

If we didn’t vote for Hillary Clinton it’s because she didn’t stand for the principles and values that we care about – protecting our children. What she promotes in the U.N. is exactly the opposite of that. We want our rights to be protected by the Constitution, and we want those to be recognized as given from God – not from government. We as mothers are going to live a life of freedom by supporting those constitutional values and teaching those things, teaching a love of liberty in our own homes, with our children, because they’re not going to get it anywhere else.

“We want to empower moms to realize their influence in our society, in our country, simply by being who they are,” Fletcher added. “We want to give them the tools and resources that they need to be able to fight the battles on their own home front, and promote those values and principles of liberty in their homes.”

“I can think of no better way to celebrate this historic occasion than sharing the light of liberty with our children and uniting as families and churches across the nation to let freedom ring,” she said.
