President Donald Trump repeated his support for Alabama Republican Senate candidate Roy Moore on Twitter on Friday.
“VOTE ROY MOORE!” he wrote, reminding Alabama voters that he needed a Republican in the Senate to help him pass his agenda:
Trump coined a new nickname for Moore’s Democratic opponent, Doug Jones, describing him as “Puppet Jones,” who would support Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer’s agenda.
“He’s bad on Crime, Life, Border, Vets, Guns & Military,” Trump continued.
The president plans to rally supporters on Friday night in Pensacola, Florida, which is about 20 miles from the Alabama border.
The special election will be held on December 12.
