NEW YORK, Feb. 25 (UPI) —
New York Knicks point guard Raymond Felton was arrested Tuesday and charged with three counts of criminal possession of a weapon, police said.
Felton was charged with second- and third-degree criminal possession of a firearm — both felonies — and fourth-degree possession of a firearm, a misdemeanor, a New York Police Department spokesman said.
Felton was due Tuesday in criminal court in Manhattan, ESPNNewYork.com reported.
The 29-year-old turned himself in for questioning at the 20th precinct on the Upper West Side of Manhattan hours after the Knicks’ loss to the Dallas Mavericks Monday night.
