Patriots safety Patrick Chung broke his arm during the third quarter of Super Bowl LIII. The surgery to repair the arm required 23 stitches.

And if you don’t believe that it required that many stitches, then you can count them yourself. Because Chung revealed the gnarly post-op scar in a video he shared with TMZ.

“In the video, he said the surgery went well and he will be back. The 31-year-old will return in time for his 11th NFL season,” WEEI reported.

Despite the severity of the injury, Chung remained on the sideline and watched the rest of the game as the Patriots won their sixth Super Bowl title.
