A comedian who went viral for a stunt in which he asked Starbucks to give him free coffee as “reparations for racism” told Fox News host Laura Ingraham Wednesday night that he pulled the stunt because he is tired of liberals victimizing blacks.

“I am sick and tired of liberals using black people and making us look like victims, making us look soft with their liberal dogma,” Bryan Sharpe told Ingraham on Wednesday’s episode of the Ingraham Angle. “It is disgusting.”

“The other thing I hate about liberals is if you’re a black man, as I am, in America they will not hand you a microphone unless you follow the liberal narrative, and I said, you know what, I bet if I go into Starbucks and I follow a liberal narrative I’ll make the news — and voilà here I am!” Sharpe added.

Sharpe went viral this week after he posted a video of himself asking a Starbucks barista if he could get free coffee as “reparations” for the company’s “racism.”

“I heard ya’ll was racist, so I came to get my free coffee,” Sharpe told a white female barista working the cash register. “I heard ya’ll don’t like black people, so I came to get my Starbucks reparations voucher.”

The female barista immediately fetched him the coffee without questioning his demand.

His stunt comes after employees at a Philadelphia Starbucks called the police on two black men Saturday when they asked to use the restroom and did not buy anything from the store.

Police arrested the men for trespassing but did not file charges against them.

A video of the encounter went viral on social media, prompting many people to call for a boycott of the coffee chain on Twitter.

Starbucks responded to the incident by sending its CEO to Philadelphia to personally apologize to the men and announced it would close 8,000 of its stores for “racial bias training” for an afternoon next month.
