Tuesday on Fox LA, panelists from HLN’s “Dr. Drew” show discussed last Thursday’s controversy when transgender Inside Edition reporter Zoey Tur threatened Breitbart Senior Editor-at-Large Ben Shapiro by saying she would send Shapiro “home in an ambulance” during a discussion about Bruce Jenner receiving ESPN’s Arthur Ashe Courage Award.
Anahita Sedaghatfar defended Shaprio and said, “I’ve never been so disgusted and appalled by what I saw on the Dr Drew show. We cover tons of controversial topics. I have never seen a guest physically threaten and touch another guest. And the fact that the panelist including Segun, sat there — sorry you know I love you — and didn’t say wait a minute, we dont care how offensive this comment was that Ben made, there is never an excuse to actually physical threaten to harm somebody.”
She added, “The worse part of it to me is the hypocrisy because Zoey and the people who are defending Zoey and her conduct on that show preach tolerance. We have to be accepting of people with differing opinions and lifestyles where is the tolerance here. I thought it was reprehensible.”
Segun Oduolowu disagreed saying, “What he did was deliberately disrespectful. You call a transgender woman sir on national television you know what you are doing.”
