Trump on Islamic State Terrorism: ‘You Have to Take Out Their Families’

Wednesday on Fox News Channel’s “Fox & Friends,” Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump discussed how he would handle the threat of ISIS.

Trump first called  President Barack Obama “a president that doesn’t know what he is doing” and suggested he not announce his intentions when it comes to deploying U.S. forces to the regions held by ISIS. He went on to explain if he were president, he would employ a prioritization and declare ISIS as our “number one threat” because he said the United States “couldn’t fight everybody.”

As for the tactics he would use, Trump said he would go as far take out the family members of ISIS.

“[I]t’s a horrible thing. They’re using them as shields. But we’re fighting a very politically correct war,” he said. “And the other thing is with the terrorists, you have to take out their families. When you get these terrorists, you have to take out their families. They care about their lives, don’t kid yourself. But they say they don’t care about their lives. You have to take out their families.”
