McMaster: Our National Security Has Been Put at Risk By Those Releasing Information to the Press

Tuesday during the White House press briefing, National Security Advisor H.R. McMaster said President Donald Trump’s statements during his meeting with Russia’s foreign minister were appropriate and the “real issue” was the leaking of those to the press.

McMaster said, “I think the real issue and I think that I would like to see really debated more is our national security has been put at risk by those violating confidentiality and those releasing information to the press that can be used and connected with other information available to make America citizens and other more vulnerable.”
