Miley Cyrus Refuses Advice from 'Old Jewish Men'

The singer best known for taking off her clothes is suddenly getting a reputation for putting her foot in her mouth.

Earlier this week, Miley Cyrus declared that men over 40 stop having sex–during a chat with 55-year-old news anchor Matt Lauer. Now, she’s blasting older music executives in a way that won’t win her any fans in a certain religious community.

Cyrus moaned about getting music advice from her elders during an interview with Hunger TV.

It’s always weird when things are targeted for young people, yet they’re driven by people that are like 40 years too old. It can’t be like this 70-year-old Jewish man that doesn’t leave his desk all day, telling me what the clubs want to hear.

Cyrus is firing on all cylinders when it comes to generating press, but her glaring lack of self-awareness is something no amount of publicity can camouflage.

The Huffington Post tried, though, stripping the word “Jewish” from its headline while covering the same Hunger TV chat.
