Republican presidential candidate Carly Fiorina is joining pro-life leaders from across the country to call for Congress to defund Planned Parenthood.

As Breitbart News reported, the Center for Medical Progress has released a second video showing another senior medical adviser to Planned Parenthood discussing selling organs from aborted babies.

In her video, Fiorina appears with Frederick Douglass Foundation Chairman and Online for Life Outreach Director, Reverend Dean Nelson, Susan B. Anthony List President Marjorie Dannenfelser, National Black Pro-Life Coalition President Catherine Davis, Dr. Charmaine Yoest of Americans United for Life Action, and Lori Hoye and Pastor Walter Hoye of the Issues4Life Foundation, “to decry the moral depravity” shown by Planned Parenthood.

I’m proud to join pro-life leaders from across the country in responding to the latest despicable and outrageous news from Planned Parenthood.

Fiorina remarks that regardless of if you are pro-life or pro-choice, “every woman, every man, has to look at these videos and think, ‘what has gone wrong in our nation?'”

She also calls out Planned Parenthood for its hypocrisy in “telling women over and over again, that their unborn children are not life, and yet talking calmly about how to preserve the organs of that life,” and for opposing the use of ultrasounds to allow women to see the life inside them but then using that technology to guide their tools “to make sure that organs are preserved so that they can be presumably sold.”

“This is a terrible moment, and it is made even more terrible by the absolute deafening silence of the Democratic Party,” continues Fiorina, noting that Democrats — including Hillary Clinton — “have always fought for a policy that says that it is not a life until it leaves the hospital.”

“We now have a moment in this nation to take some real action here. We can decide, finally, to defund Planned Parenthood. And the Senate can decide to pass the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act.”
