The Daily Beast identifies as an objective news outlet. Anyone familiar with the online outlet knows this isn’t true but it is still fun to point out when the left-wing bias gets as brazen as Tim Mak, the Beast’s Senior Congressional Correspondent, publicly defending a CNN reporter suspended for attacking Republicans for increasing security in the vetting of Syrian refugees:
—
CNN reporter Elise Labott suspended for accurate tweet about the Syrian refugee situation https://t.co/hjnr9QbnGq
— Tim Mak (@timkmak) November 20, 2015
—
Even though the CNN reporter apologized for “editorializing,” Mak absurdly claimed she didn’t.
—
Pointing out that America is a country of immigrants, that the State of Liberty stands for refugees, is hardly editorializing
— Tim Mak (@timkmak) November 20, 2015

Like the rest of the DC Media, Mak is putting political correctness above national security (his supposed specialty). He knows these refugees come from a failed state awash in forged documents where there is no reliable database to bet anyone.
Regardless, to attack Republicans, he’s pouring on uninformed emotional blackmail.
