Hayden: Armed Forces ‘Frustrated, Under-Resourced and Over-Regulated’

Monday night on Newsmax TV’s “Prime,” the former NSA and CIA director Gen. Michael Hayden said U.S. armed forces in Iraq and Syria are “frustrated” because they are “under-resourced and over-regulated” by the Obama administration.

Hayden said, “I can assure you that the members of the armed forces are frustrated. They feel as if their presence in Iraq and Syria is under-resourced and over-regulated, and they would like to see a bit more resources added, not maneuver brigades in the desert. And they’d like more freedom of action, to do the kinds of things that the forces that are already there are more capable of doing.”
