HBO’s “Real Time” host Bill Maher said it’s a “false equivalency” to compare liberal megadonor George Soros to the Kochs and Sheldon Adelson on Friday.
After Maher argued that there’s too much money in politics, and specifically cited Sheldon Adelson and the Koch brothers, Roger Stone stated, “Let’s throw George Soros in there, though.”
Maher responded, “That’s a false equivalency, because George Soros is advocating against his personal interests. That’s not the same thing with the Koch brothers. George Soros wants to be taxed more, not less.”
