First Lady Melania Trump is getting into the Christmas spirit with her fashion choices, pulling out a vibrant, red, off-the-runway coat for Thursday evening’s Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony at the White House.
Melania was all buttoned up in the classic, red tweed Chanel coat from Karl Lagerfeld’s 2017 Pre-Fall Collection for the label. The First Lady paired the holiday ensemble with nude-colored Christian Louboutin stilettos, with the brand’s famous red soles matching Melania’s look.

Earlier this week, the First Lady unveiled this year’s White House Christmas decorations wearing a snow-white caped Christian Dior dress with a thin, gold belt. A child visiting the White House at the time was overheard by news cameras saying she “seriously looks like an angel.”
