Palin to Holder: Even Illegals Without Fancy Law Degrees Know Laws Not Being Enforced

Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin ripped Attorney General Eric Holder for his incompetence and lawlessness, particularly on illegal immigration, a week after he dismissed her call for President Barack Obama to be impeached.

“You don’t need some fancy law degree being on your wall to know that laws are not being enforced today,” Palin said at the Western Conservative Summit in Colorado on Saturday. “Illegal immigrants from all over the world know that.”

Palin said she didn’t need lectures from Holder, who Palin said was “a guy so incompetent that he denied voter fraud existed after someone claimed they were Eric Holder and got his ballot” in D.C.

She also said Holder should tell “his boss” Obama “to get out of the bubble” and “go to those border towns. Working-class communities. See the consequences of deliberately not enforcing the laws.”

Just this week, Breitbart Texas broke the story about an illegal immigrant who was arrested for murder after being released from a detention center in June with a “notice to appear,” which illegal immigrants often mistake for a “permiso” to indefinitely remain in the United States.

“Eric, instead of shamelessly playing the race card again, try to get it that illegal immigration hurts all Americans, of all races and backgrounds,” Palin said. “Even Cesar Chavez opposed it because it hurts the immigrants who are working-class and fighting for decent wages. It’s a non-partisan issue.”

Last week, Holder said Palin “wasn’t a particularly good vice presidential candidate” and is “an even worse judge of who ought to be impeached and why.” He also suggested that some who oppose him and Obama were motivated by “racial animus” before reiterating that Americans were still cowards when it comes to discussing race.

Palin said Holder’s racism claim was a “disgusting false charge.”

“Just because someone opposes a failed, unjust agenda, that makes you a racist?” Palin said, noting that there are now protests against Obama in black communities, Hispanic circles and on reservations.

Palin said the left uses the race card to “stop debate right there” because “they can’t get us on the issues.” Palin added that when they play the race card and make their “deadly charge,” their critics and friends in the mainstream press let them off the hook. Palin said that is the only way the left can win.

Regarding Obama’s lawlessness on illegal immigration, Palin announced in an op-ed on Breitbart.com that Obama’s “many impeachable offenses” can no longer be ignored.

“It’s time to impeach; and on behalf of American workers and legal immigrants of all backgrounds, we should vehemently oppose any politician on the left or right who would hesitate in voting for articles of impeachment,” Palin wrote. “The many impeachable offenses of Barack Obama can no longer be ignored. If after all this he’s not impeachable, then no one is.”

As Breitbart News noted, “Palin specifically said Obama’s lawlessness on illegal immigration was the tipping point because it impacted Americans — native-born and legal immigrants — of all backgrounds”:

The federal government is trillions of dollars in debt; many cities are on the verge of insolvency; our overrun healthcare system, police forces, social services, schools, and our unsustainably generous welfare-state programs are stretched to the max. We average Americans know that. So why has this issue been allowed to be turned upside down with our “leader” creating such unsafe conditions while at the same time obstructing any economic recovery by creating more dependents than he allows producers? His friendly wealthy bipartisan elite, who want cheap foreign labor and can afford for themselves the best “border security” money can buy in their own exclusive communities, do not care that Obama tapped us out.

Have faith that average American workers – native-born and wonderful legal immigrants of all races, backgrounds, and political parties – do care because we’re the ones getting screwed as we’re forced to follow all our government’s rules while others are not required to do so. Many now feel like strangers in their own land. It’s the American worker who is forced to deal with Obama’s latest crisis with our hard-earned tax dollars while middle class wages decrease, sustainable jobs get more scarce, and communities become unrecognizable and bankrupted due to Obama’s flood of illegal immigration.

Who’s looking out for the American workers? Who has their backs? Who fights for them?

We should.
