According to Fox News, more than six hours before the polls close, Donald Trump won New Hampshire with 28% of the vote. Florida Senator Marco Rubio slid into second with 15%. Cruz took third place with– but not really. In one of those online glitches that inevitably occurs on election day, Fox News accidentally and prematurely declared Trump the winner.

National Review’s Charles Cooke appears to be the first person to spot the error.

Fox News released a statement to the left-wing Politico:

“During routine testing in preparation for the New Hampshire primary a malfunction occurred which briefly showed errant data on our website,” Fox News Chief Digital Officer Jeff Misenti said in a statement. “This error has been rectified. We apologize for any confusion this may have caused.”

The test page was up for 15 minutes.
