President Donald Trump will call for a renewed America in his State of the Union address on Tuesday, according to excerpts of the speech released by his staff.

“This is our New American Moment,” he plans to say. “There has never been a better time to start living the American dream.”

Trump will tout a “safe, strong, and proud America” in the first year of his presidency, promoting jobs and safety for every American citizen.

He will also promote his historic tax cuts, his role in cutting federal regulations, significant military gains against fighting the Islamic State, and more energy development.

The president will also call for siginicant new federal infrastructure spending.

“America is a nation of builders,” he will say. “We built the Empire State Building in just one year – isn’t it a disgrace that it can now take ten years just to get a permit approved for a simple road?”

Trump will also dicuss fixing immigration policy.

“Struggling communities, especially immigrant communities, will also be helped by immigration policies that focus on the best interests of American Workers and American Families,” he plans to say, according to excerpts.

Trump will continue the State of the Union tradition of calling for unity among both Republicans and Democrats to fix America’s problems.

“So tonight I am extending an open hand to work with members of both parties, Democrats and Republicans, to protect our citizens, of every background, color, and creed,” he will say.
