President Joe Biden will announce a new rule waiving ethanol rules on Tuesday, allowing the production of the E15 blend year round.
The president will travel to an ethanol facility in Iowa to make the announcement.
The event is scheduled for 2:45 PM ET.
Biden continues struggling to demonstrate he is taking the cost of rising gas prices seriously, blaming Russian President Vladimir Putin instead of his own anti-energy policies.
