Prosecutors: Hernandez 'Orchestrated' Execution

Prosecutors: Hernandez 'Orchestrated' Execution

Initial reports indicated that Odin Lloyd, the 27-year-old Boston man former Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez has been charged with murdering, was killed “execution style.”

On Wednesday, the prosecution chillingly alleged that Hernandez “drove the victim to the remote spot, and he then orchestrated his execution.”

“That’s what it was,” First Assistant District Attorney William McCauley said in Attleboro District Court, according to NBC News. “As (Lloyd) tried to turn, he was shot in the back, and the defendant and his confederates stood over him and delivered the two fatal shots.”

He added, “He orchestrated the crime from the beginning and took steps to conceal and destroy evidence.”

Hernandez pled not guilty, but was denied bail.
