A Georgia girls high school basketball coach allegedly bit an opposing coach in the face and threw a chair at him after losing a game.
Cobb County authorities arrested Melonie Joyce Martin, who teaches at South Cobb High School, for battery, terroristic acts, and several other charges last week. Tyrone Harris, the coach for rival Campbell High School, allegedly endured the woman’s teeth on his nose and eye. Several school officials, including an assistant principal, claim to have witnessed the peculiar violence.
Allegedly, the language arts teacher artistically used language in offering this prophecy to her victim, “I’m about to beat your [expletive] and stomp you, and I’ll beat your [expletive] and knock your teeth out of your face.”
Campbell beat South Cobb 54-34. Neither team boasts a winning record. The same might soon be said for Ms. Martin.
