NHL Goon Becomes Bank Robber

NHL Goon Becomes Bank Robber

Patrick Cote finished his NHL career with 377 penalty minutes and just three points. If his life were a novel, readers might call this foreshadowing.

A Canadian judge sentenced the former NHL goon to thirty months in the penalty box earlier this week for two bank robberies. After cops in Ontario pinched Cote for driving a stolen car in May, he confessed to knocking off banks in Brossard and Saint Constant.

Cote played for the Dallas Stars, Nashville Predators, and Edmonton Oilers.
