Watch: Varney on American Greatness

On Friday, Fox Business Network’s “Varney & Co.” host Stuart Varney shared why he as an immigrant is proud to be an American. 

He said: “For a European seeing the sheer size of America, really takes your breath away. Europe is cramped. You spend your life [cramped] and have tiny little cars, but in America, oh, wide open spaces, Big Sky country. You know you’ve arrived in a very big place, and it’s wide open. As soon as you step off the plane, I didn’t come on a boat, I stepped off a plane. As soon as you arrive you know this society is open. It doesn’t matter who your mom and dad were. It doesn’t matter what you look like. You can go as far as you want to. It’s wide open. America feels free. It is a feeling, and you can pick it up. It’s almost like it is in the wind or something, but you know it, as soon as you arrive, this place means freedom.”
