Sanders To Clinton: ‘Excuse Me, I’m Talking’

Democratic presidential candidates Sen. Bernie Sanders (D-VT) and Hillary Clinton got into a heated exchange Sunday night at the Michigan Democratic debate when Sanders stopped Clinton from interrupting him by saying, “Excuse me, I’m talking.”

The Democratic candidates were arguing over the auto bailout and the 2008 bailout of Wall Street.

“I voted to save the auto industry—he voted against the money that ended up saving the auto industry,” Clinton said about Sanders.

“If you are talking about the Wall Street bailout, where some of you friends destroyed this economy—” Sanders said before being interrupted by Clinton.

“Excuse me, I’m talking,” Sanders said to Clinton.

“If you’re going to talk, tell the whole story,” Clinton shot back.

“I’ll tell my story, you tell yours. Your story is for voting for every disastrous trade deal and voting for corporate America,” Sanders said to Clinton.
