LOS ANGELES, Aug. 12 (UPI) — Chris Pine and Ben Foster wore casual looks on the red carpet Wednesday.

The 35-year-old actor and Foster, also 35, attended the Los Angeles premiere of Hell or High Water at the ArcLight Cinerama Dome.

Pine and Foster sported complementary ensembles, with Pine in a printed navy shirt and Foster in a navy jacket and denim button-down. Foster completed his outfit with a straw fedora.

Co-stars Jeff Bridges, Gil Birmingham, Dale Dickey and Melanie Papalia also attended the event. Bridges, who usually sports a full beard, was nearly unrecognizable with a clean-shaven face.

Hell or High Water centers on a pair of brothers (Pine and Foster) who plan a series of heists to save their family’s farm from foreclosure. The siblings come up against a formidable Texas Ranger (Bridges).

“It’s about the failure of men to be intimate and vulnerable when they desperately want to be. But they just don’t have the language or facility to do so,” Pine told Variety at the premiere.

“To hear the voices that kind of congress together and see how it depicts the people’s anger and frustration is very illuminating for me and powerful for the social conversation,” he added.

Pine and Foster previously costarred in The Finest Hours, which opened in January. Hell or High Water is directed by Scottish director David Mackenzie and opens in theaters Friday.
