Demi Lovato’s fifth studio album ‘Confident’ due out Oct. 16

NEW YORK, Aug. 27 (UPI) — Confident, the fifth studio album from recording artist Demi Lovato, is set for release Oct. 16.

The CD will feature production by Max Martin, Ryan Tedder, Steve Mac, Jason Evigan, Wolf Cousins, Savan Kotecha and Stargate.

It marks Lovato’s first album release through a creative partnership between Hollywood Records, Island Records and Safehouse Records, a label she created with Nick Jonas and their manager Phil McIntyre.

Lovato is scheduled to perform her hit song “Cool for the Summer” at Sunday’s 2015 MTV Video Music Awards. She is booked to follow up that appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live’s outdoor stage Monday.
