NEW YORK, Aug. 18 (UPI) — Natalie Portman has confirmed that she is “done” making films inside the Marvel cinematic universe.

“As far as I know, I’m done,” the actress said Wednesday during an interview with the Wall Street Journal when asked if she had any plans to return to Marvel.

“I mean, I don’t know if maybe one day they’ll ask for an Avengers 7 or whatever, I have no idea. But as far as I know, I’m done, but it was a great thing to be a part of,” she continued, leaving the door slightly open.

Portman famously starred as Thor (Chris Hemsworth’s) love interest Jane Foster in 2011’s Thor and 2013’s Thor: The Dark World.

While it was assumed she would continue portraying the scientist in the third entry in the series, Thor: Ragnarok, Portman officially exited the project back in April. Marvel then cast Creed star Tessa Thompson as a new female character in the film who will catch the eye of the titular God of Thunder.

Notably, Thompson will appear alongside Portman in director Alex Garland’s upcoming film, Annihilation.

Thor: Ragnarok featuring series regulars Tom Hiddleston (Loki), Idris Elba (Heimdall) and Anthony Hopkins, is due in theaters Oct. 27, 2017.
