LOS ANGELES, April 22 (UPI) — Stanley Tucci is the newest actor signed on to the cast of Disney’s live-action Beauty and the Beast film.
Tucci’s is joining Emma Watson, who was cast as Belle, Luke Evans as Gaston and Dan Stevens as the Beast. The Hunger Games actor will play Cadenza, a grand piano, described as a neurotic maestro.
Variety first reported the news, describing as Tucci’s role as a “new character to the realm.”
Other famous faces confirmed to appear in the film are Emma Thompson, Ewan McGregor, Ian McKellan and Josh Gad.
Gad even posted the first cast photo on his Instagram.
The film has an expected release date of March 17, 2017 and will be directed by Bill Condon.
