Gowdy: ‘No Question’ Benghazi Committee Is Owed Docs, State Department ‘Owes Us a Lot’

Benghazi Select Committee Chairman Representative Trey Gowdy (R-SC) stated that “The State Department owes us a lot of documents” in an interview with the Fox News Channel’s Greta Van Susteren on Friday.

Gowdy was asked [relevant exchange begins around 13:00] if he has gotten every document from the State Department, White House, CIA, and Defense Department. He responded that “there’s no question” he’s owed documents, and “They would tell you that. They would tell you that they still owe us documents They owe us the emails of Patrick Kennedy. They owe — the White House The State Department owes us a lot of documents.”

Gowdy added that Democrats on the committee “have not lifted a finger” to help him acquire the documents he’s seeking.
