The Palestinian Authority has condemned Israel for killing two Arab terrorists, both of whom were shot while stabbing innocent Israeli civilians in Jerusalem.

An official statement published by the Palestinian Authority news agency called on the world to condemn “the killing of two young men in occupied Jerusalem,” but without noting that the two in question were killing, or attempting to kill, Israelis, according to a report by the Times of Israel.

One terrorist had succeeded in killing two Israeli men, Nehemiah Lavi and Aharon Banito, and wounding a toddler. The Palestinian Authority statement also failed to condemn the recent murder of Naama and Eitam Henkin, who were shot by terrorists in front of the children while driving in the family car on a West Bank road.

Israelis blame Palestinian Authority president Mahmoud Abbas for inciting a string of recent attacks, particularly in Jerusalem.
